New Tallassee Career Tech Center

With multiple industries in and around the Tallassee area, school leaders quickly realized the numerous career opportunities students could take advantage of when given the right training.  Everyone understands that when you develop industry in your town you’re also developing, economically, for your community.

When this type of partnership exists, the right two-year college is an integral part of the equation. That college must be willing to commit to your kids and to your community. Trenholm State Community College has proven to be that partner.

Currently, industrial maintenance, machining and computer information courses are available through the career tech program through the dual enrollment program offered at Tallassee High School.  More than 100 students have already earned dual credit hours through this program.  These students will continue to be a wonderful source of qualified candidates for our growing area.
